Ariels husband was getting really bored, he started reading everything that had a label. I learned from this experience that there should be something the husband can play with to fill his time while everything is a little calm.
She was so tiny, but man did she cry!
As well as give the stink eye…
Ariel with her baby a minute or so after she was born! I love how happy, and relived, she looks. It was a true miracle that her baby came out perfect, though she was a little small.
She is so small in this picture! She has grown so much already and has the cutest smile and laugh!

They didn't reveal the name of the baby until several hours after she was born. The doctor had a great sense of humor though and named the baby Shaniqua (I don't think I even spelled it right) I thought I had a picture of it, but I guess I misplaced it somewhere. The nurses thought thats what they really named the baby!
Thank you Ariel for allowing me to be at the birth! It was a first for me and you made it an amazing experience. Now I hope I can be a tough as you were when I have my baby! I hope you can make it here to Vegas when I go into labor!
